High Road Reverie is the debut full-length album from Canadian singer-songwriter Pony Gold (Theresa Anne Bromley), produced by Leeroy Stagger. Known for her raw lyricism and soulful vocals, Pony Gold weaves stories of addiction, resilience, and small-town roots into songs that cut straight to the heart.
The album was recorded live-off-the-floor at Hipposonic Studios in Vancouver with some of Canada’s top players (City and Colour, John Prine, The Deep Dark Woods), bringing a raw, honest energy reminiscent of Kathleen Edwards, Lucinda Williams, and early Tom Petty. The result is a record full of grit, tenderness, and resilience — storytelling at its most compelling.
